Simple Satellite BEM |  |
This demo serves as an introduction to spacecraft charging simulations using the boundary element method (BEM). The user will learn how to simulate surface charging for a representative satellite model in a GEO Maxwellian plasma environment with time-varying solar illumination. The tutorial also demonstrates how to process results for the electric potential, normal electric field, and photoelectric flux using EMA3D’s built-in visualization tools.
